[Xiangtan Hengxin] Celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the CPC

  In August 1920,Chen Duxiu launched the first early organization of the CPC in Shanghai.On September 1,1920,Chen Duxiu published an article titled"My Views on the Current Situation"in"New Youth",which referred to"our party"as the"Socialist Party"and later changed its name to"Communist Party".
  Cai Hesen first proposed the name"CPC".On August 13 and September 16,1920,while studying in France,he wrote two letters to Mao Zedong,in which he discussed the issue of the Communist Party in detail,and proposed:"First,we should organize the Party-the Communist Party,because it is the initiator,propagandist,vanguard,and war department of the revolutionary movement."On the basis of his investigation of the Communist Parties in Western Europe,especially the Russian Communist Party,he proposed specific steps for the establishment of the Party,including"the formal establishment of a CPC in a blatant manner".
  Before and after this,Chen Duxiu in Shanghai,Li Dazhao,and Zhang Shenfu also discussed the issue of the party's name through letters in Beijing,and decided to adopt the name"Communist Party"as the name of China's proletarian political party.
  The Xiangtan Hengxin Party Branch was established in 2009,with 24 party members,including one representative from Xiangtan City.The Party Branch has been recognized as an advanced Party organization by the Xiangtan City Committee and the Shaoshan City Committee,and is a five-star Party Branch in Xiangtan City.The innovation in Party building work has won the first prize of the"Typical Case of Party Building Innovation".
